serious serious drool???

This is new the last few days. She is soaking through her bib and sometimes her clothes at and in between every feeding. She is seriously like a fountain. And she all of the sudden wants her hands in her mouth at all times -- fists and all. Could she be teething already????

Re: serious serious drool???

  • Kara is doing the same thing.  She cracks us up when she shoves her fists in her mouth!  I asked our pedi about the drooling b/c it seemed to come out of nowhere and she said that babies usually start their teething behavior at around this age.  They aren't ready to start teething yet, but they start the drooling and sucking on their fingers first.  You should still have a few more months before she starts with the teeth.  :)
  • My Avery started this at 3 months and it is teething... :) We STILL don't have a tooth popped through yet though!

  • Kellen has been doing this for a couple of weeks.  I hope it isn't teething.  He is a major drooler... leading to the nickname of the foamy homey.
  • i know exactly what you are talking about! Hailey has been the same way the past few weeks!! I dont know if its teething. Havnet seen anything poke through. I plan on asking the ped next week!!
  • Drooling and putting their hands in their mouth is a developmental thing that starts around 3 months. DD did it too - and has yet to have any teeth break through.

  • Mason is doing the same thing and our pedi said it's just his age - we shouldn't expect to see a tooth pop until 6-8 months.
