Anyone pregnant and still nursing first DC?

I have noticed my milk supply has really dwindled in the last two weeks or so.  Is it possible to keep breastfeeding while pregnant or will it keep going down until I have none?

  • Try posting on the Breastfeeding board.  I'm sure lots of women can help you on there!

  • I AM NOT POSITIVE BUT i HEAR THAT BREAST FEEDING CONTRACTS YOUR UTERUS AND i WOULD ASK YOUR DR.
  • My supply totally dwindled, so I'm not bfing anymore. I know some women do it, but I think it depends on how old your child is. If they are still totally or mostly dependent on your milk for their nutrition, then you may have to either try to boost your supply or supplement. When I began to supplement, it became apparent to me that I didn't have enough milk to make it worthwhile to keep going.... which is too bad. I was really sad about that.
