Bleeding gums - out of control!

Ok, so I've resigned myself to the pink toothbrush in the mornings.  But I was just tasting my spinach dip with a nice piece of crusty french bread and I'm bleeding like a stuck pig, WTF

anyone else have this really bad???

  • No... my mouth is always pretty sensitive but I've been ok so far. You might want to get a dentist appt - keeping your gums healthy is really important during pregnancy.

  • I'm nine weeks and my gums bleed almost everytime I brush. I have read it's due to an increase in progesterone you body is producing.... hormones, yay. It helps to rinse with equal part peroxide and water after you brush.

Woah, how on earth did you get that many posts in such a short amount of time? ?You aren't one of those 'test' repeat posting cheaters are you? ?You'd have to had made 35 posts a day since day one. ?Dang!

I'm on the nest a lot... not a very short amount of time. I'm newer to the bump bc I just got knocked up. All the nesticles/points are the same whether you're on the knot, nest, or bump.?

  • Mine are like this too. The dentist wanted to upsell me some extra services when I went in to make sure I didn't get "pregnancy gingivitis". They made a really big deal about how much I needed to pay for these services for about 10 minutes before my cleaning. I ended up declining the services and told them I wanted to just floss extra and try to take care of it on my own. Once I said that, I never heard another peep and they didn't even want to see me for 6 more months. Point of all of this is - don't worry too much about it and just floss and brush extra to make sure your teeth are squeaky clean! Big Smile
