Pain when climaxing?

This may be a little personal but last night when we were BDing I had sharp cramping around where I think my left ovary would be when I climaxed. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or if I should be concerned?

Any advice or insight is appreciated!

I wouldn't be concerned. I've read it's normal for your uterus to cramp after orgasm. I definitely have felt it a few times, the worst being something around 6 weeks.

Yes, I've experienced this.  For me, it felt like all over mild cramping right after an orgasm.  I looked this up in What to Expect When Expecting, and it's normal.  The cramping went away in a couple of minutes

I experienced this a few years back (when I was not PG)...it turned out I had a benign cyst somewhere on my ovary that was touching nerve endings -- the nerve endings swell during climax, pushing against the cyst and causing pain. My doctor told me that the cyst would likely pass with my next period, and it did. I'm not sure what it means for a pregnancy though -- hopefully nothing of course, it it might be something totally different -- but could be worth a call to the doc if it's happening with every O.

I have cramps every time too. I was shy to ask on here though (lol) so I googled but everything I read seems to point to normal.

I read that cramping after an orgasm in normal in pregnancy. The other night I was horny and I "helped myself" (DH wasn't around, lol) and then I got a cramp. I was scared so I looked it up, apparently it's normal unless it's severe and it doesn't go away.

I'm glad you asked.  The best way I can explain what I feel is it feels like I'm getting my period, after climaxing for about 10 min.   I feel better knowing it's normal.

Wow. The first time I read that sentence it looked like you got cramps after you had 10 min orgasms.
