I had a celebrity sighting tonight

I was at blockbuster this evening and walked in right behind Robin Williams. I know he lives around here because 15 years ago I saw him across the street from my high school.

He picked out a couple of foreign films and was standing in line next to me to pay. I don't think he had an account because the clerk asked for his picture ID. He was wearing glasses, a black coat and orange New Balance sneakers. It was pretty obvious who he was.

I tried not to gawk and remain nonchalant. I so wanted to take a pic or say hello but I didn't want to act stupid. Plus, I looked horrible.

I walked out right after him and saw him drive away in a black Audi.

Damn, I should've gotten a pic. I wonder what he rented.?

That's awesome! A friend of mine is down in San Fran hospital with her 27 week baby and she came back up here for 2 days. She called down there to check on him and they said Robin Williams had came by that day and took a picture with her baby. I think it was just a couple of days ago. He sounds pretty cool!

He did a stand up comedy show at my college and he is the funniest man I have ever seen in my life!  It's very cool you saw him up close.

That's so cool!   I would have done the same thing - I would have totally wanted to ask for a picture or something but I would have "played it cool" too!

LOL!  You are cute!  I worked VIP in Las Vegas and worked for a magician and to be honest I still get a little star struck.

That's when you really want to be holding a copy of "Dead Poets Society," and chat casually with the clerk about how the guy who played the lead was completely robbed by the Academy.

That is AWESOME!  I have a dad crush on him....always wanted him to be my dad (well, minus the cocaine and alcohol abuse,lol)!!  I think I would have chickened out as well, but would have loved to get a pic!
