Babies: 9 - 12 Months

what are you Christmas Eve plans?

We go to DH's parents house for the day. The only thing I am concerned with is how DD is going to nap. MIL doesn't have a swing, toys, high chair, etc. I guess I will have to hold DD while she naps that is if she does at all!

my pack n play is at my parents house bc I go there on a weekly basis and so does my sis with her 5 mth old

  • Tomorrow morning DH has a chiropractor appointment then we have to go to Walmart to pick up a few things.  Tomorrow late afternoon we will go to DH's sisters house for his extended family Christmas.
  • We're going to my mom's house in the afternoon, pretty much right after we get the girls up from morning nap and feed them lunch. DH is staying here with the girls because it's an hour there each way and they SCREAM through all car rides, and we won't get home until after their bedtime (or right by it). He's going to keep them up a little late so that we can do cocoa, presents, and leaving cookies out for Santa before they go to bed. All of the kids get pjs to open on Christmas Eve. Can't wait!
  • If your in laws have A LOT of pillows, then put DD on the bed around a lot of pillows ?But if she rolls in her sleep then maybe thats not a good idea.?

For us, we will get up run a few last minute errands, go to the Lake by our home and take a few pictures (the lake is frozen ) I think there will be ppl ice skating, then we will come home, DS will eat lunch and he will go down for his nap.?

While DS is down for his nap, DH will get ready to go to work (yes he has to work on Christmas Eve, Xmas Day and New Years Eve )) Im not happy about it but at least his shift is at night and not in the morning))

Then I will get DS's bag ready for him and I to go to a friend's Christmas Eve Party for the remainder of the night till DH gets off work for us to go to Midnight Mass.

  • We're driving 'home' to San Antonio tomorrow morning. We'll spend the whole day cooking and baking (we do a bunch of snacky foods on Xmas Eve night) and then we open gifts from my dad's mom afterwards.

    I can NOT wait :)

  • I am having my brother, his finance, her daughter come over. I am cooking dinner, and we will also have desert. We will also remember our mother (who died in 2004) then open gifts at midnight. I can't wait.
  • My mom is here from FL, and my brother will get here tomorrow as well.  I will be baking 2 pies, 3 kinds of cookies and prepping for Christmas day dinner.  We will probably just watch a movie and order Chinese food.

  • We're going to have Chinese food for dinner (a bunch of appetizers) then help DD open her Christmas Eve present and hang her stocking.  After she goes to sleep, DH and I will decorate the tree and put out all the presents.

Tomorrow during the day I will be working on the billion chocolate lollipops I had planned to do (the first set of 6 is chilling in the fridge now) and put together a game-plan for cooking Christmas dinner.  I also need to buy one last gift, but it's just a gift card to a local place so it should be fast.

  • We're travelling 3 hours to dh's hometown. We'll go to mass in the evening, then dinner at his aunt's house. I'm crossing my fingers that ds makes it long enough so that he'll just pass out while we're at church.
  • On Christmas Eve we used to go to IL's. Now since DS they come to our house. It is so much easier; they have nothing there to keep him entertained and its not very child friendly. Here he has all of his toys and can nap in his room or swing.

  • Shopping with FIL. If he survives and neither Matthew nor I are incarcerated, we come home, cook many scary fish and very tasty lasagna, and have dinner with my mom and SF. Joseph opens jammies, we read the Christmas story, and after everyone leaves and Joseph goes to bed, I put the ham in the roaster, get breakfast ready and then I go to bed.

  • We are having a fondue night at our house with our friends.  :-)  Then DH & I will exchange gifts.  We are looking forward to DD's 1st Christmas Eve
  • Me and DD are going to my mamaw's house for dinner around 12ish. DH has to work until 2pm and then he'll come over. Then after we leave there we go to my mom and dad's and my family opens presents there. It will be an exhausting day no doubt, but I'm so pumped for it :)
