DD didn't want me today...

when I picked her up from daycare.  I almost started crying.  The teacher tried to make me feel better, but I feel horrible.  It also doesn't help that she used to be stuck to my leg and say "mama" all the time.  Lately she only says "dada" and is off being independent.  Blah!

    My mom told me that I never wanted to come home because I had so much fun in daycare.  I think it was a fluke at this age though.  She's learning new things.  Believe me, no one and nothing can replace Mommy!

    I dread the day that DD does that! Right now she's particularly clingy to me, and whereas she used to go to some people, like my grandma or sister, willingly, now she turns and buries her face in my chest.

    It doesn't hurt their feelings because they understand what age she's at, but I'm going to hate it when my grandma watches her for a day and then she doesn't want to come home with me!
