My deaf puppy is howling and its creepy!

I have no idea why she is howling...my other dog is quiet as a mouse.  This is kinda creepy!

My parents' cat is old and deaf and howls pitifully sometimes and it is a very creepy sound. Makes my DS cry it's so pitiful! I think he's going to grow up freaked out about cats! lol?
