teacher on break don't know what to do all day

Help!

I have forgotten what it is like to be a SAHM. It is totally snowy and freezing cold here so I don't really want to take 8 month old DD out so what the heck should we do all day? Specific games and ideas please! We read, dance, play on floor, practice crawling, walking, play in mirror, etc. BUt it has been a very long 2 days and after Christmas it will be many more long days- help!

thankfully it's not snowy or really cold, for that matter, we went shopping yesterday, a dr. appt. today and played on the floor

next week he's going to daycare....we have to pay anyway, so why not send him for a bit.

I plan on catching up with friends who I haven't really spent time with since the summer. Ryan loves playing with other kids and he's not going to daycare so he'll enjoy himself.

Make some lunch dates with friends--maybe even other teachers who haven't seen dc in awhile. Go to the local library--they may have a story hour. Bundle up together in a baby carrier and your maternity coat and go for a winter walk. Visit family and neighbors. take a mid-day bath together for fun. Dress dc up for a post-holiday photo shoot. Cuddle on the bed make dc giggle. And enjoy your time together. :-)

Ha, I am the same way. We are both off from teaching and snowed in here in South Bend (roads are very bad) and just don't know what to do. Even she is bored with her toys. I don't think I'd be a very good SAHM!
