C&P from 1st tri... "rules" posts crack me up

I don't know why, but when girls post these "what to do and what not to do" threads, it totally cracks me up.  Must've carried over from BOTB.

    i can't wait for the know-it-alls over on 2nd and 3rd tri to have their babies and reailze how little they DO know. They will be the ones on here asking the dumb questions.

    I agree.  BOTB have turned people into "know it alls" of the Nest.

    Yes, I must have got them going today because I posted something for the first time in 2nd tri (since I just hit my 2nd try on the 18th) and I got snarky remarks and a bunch of followers following suit simply because I did not have a ticker. I was not aware of the "rules". And since I recently joined and did not read all 3000 posts on Tri 1 which listed the rules for tri 2, I got chewed up. Rules are everywhere here I guess. Too bad the bump didn't come up with the rule themselves when you had to have a ticker before posting. Instead, it was someone else's genius idea to come up with that.

    I replied over there.  I couldn't help myself.  I've never been one to be snarky.  I didn't even know there were trimester boards until the other night, so I went to the 2nd tri to say hi.  Nobody was ugly, maybe b/c I had a ticker?  I haven't been there since.  And in one week, I'll have to move up a board anyway.

    AnnapolisLari.....I didn't even know what you were talking about until I went in and looked closely. You are very right. Maybe we should also have them incorporate the use of spell check and a ticker before we post? Just a thought on a new rule.

    I can't understand this "groundrule"

    You SHOULD read previous posts to make sure you doing RE-post something that was talked about today.

     

    It doesn't make sense as a sentence to me...

    these are people who got flamed off of botb for not following their rules...Now they get to make their OWN!!
