Synagis while sick?

Keira has (what the dr's assume) a stomach virus. ?She has been throwing up and having diarrhea off and on since Thursday. ?I asked the dr if her synagis shot should be postponed and he said "Not necessarily. ?We'll see how she is tomorrow". ?Well, it is now tomorrow and Keira just threw up her entire first bottle of the day. ?If he still suggests we give her the shot today anyway, would you?

    If you can wait a day I would.  If they are closed for christmas eve tomorrow I would go ahead and get it today so that you wouldn't be late getting it.

    Our doctor told us babies can still get Synagis if they are sick. I would still let her get it. The benefits far outweigh the risks, IMO.

    DS had his last week even wih his sinus infection and ear infection.

    They will do it.  They gave Sophie her Synagis while she was in the hospital with Whooping Cough.  They didn't want her to be late on a dose.

    They can get the shot when they are sick because the synagis is antibodies and not a vaccine.
