Babies: 9 - 12 Months

We see teeth! How long until the whole thing?

Two teeth have cut through the gum line. We can see the white part visible barely. How long until they are all the way through? Just curious.

Re: We see teeth! How long until the whole thing?

  • DS has 8 teeth. The bottom 2 literally poked through on a Sat. and Sunday in September. I don't think they are full-sized yet but they have grown. Within a few weeks the top two poked through and then 4 more but those are taking longer to come in fully.

My friends' son is a month older and has only had his bottoms for a few months with no sign of any others. I think it must be different with all kids!

  • DS had his first two teeth pop through the gumline on Dec. 6th and they are still not grown in yet..I wonder the same thing...how long until I can just look in his mouth and see the full tooth?

  • I should clarify: how long until I see his entire tooth- the one that I see just barely poking through? And does it hurt more/less as it comes in? He wasn't too fussy these past couple days and I'm hoping he's not in a ton of pain over the holidays- but I'd love some big toothy grins in his Christmas pictures!
