Crap Crappy Crap Day

So we picked up our dog, Stoli from my sister's house while we were away for the weekend...and proceeded to see that she was reallllllllllllllly sick. She was going the bathroom blood (I know, nice..sorry tmi!) and it was everywhere. She got on my daughters bed and went to the bathroom...omg, it looked like a murder scene. I had to throw all her bedding and blankets away and we had to rush Stoli to the doggie ER. It looks like she ate something nassssssty. Poor baby, but she's doing better, thank God. Then I was on my way to an ultrasound and ob appt, trying to navigate the winter tundra that is all around our house (with dd in hand) and gracefully slipped and fell right on my back. So I ended up in L&D with an IV b/c I had cramping and contractions that would not go away. They were thinking of sending me off to Boston b/c if I ended having to deliver now, they couldn't do it in my hospital. Omg, I was so scared. They kept checking my cervix and it wasn't softening...thank God. After 5 hours they let me go home. The silver lining is the babies are great! Baby Boy is 3lbs, 10 oz and Baby Girl is measuring at 3lbs, 12oz. Yay! I feel like I haven't been on here in forever!!! I missed you girls!!

  • I hope your puppy is feeling better. That sucks! Glad the babies are doing well and you didn't have to have them early!
  • Holy cow!  That's enough excitement for the next 2 months.  Be careful out there!!  And the poor puppy... I hope she's doing OK.  Take care!!

  • You poor thing!  I was wondering where you were.  That sounds really scary both with your dog and the babies, but I'm glad everything is okay now.  Take it easy over the holidays!
