discontinued bedding issue solved!

So I emailed the company in the US and Italy and the set I love (but it WAY too expensive really) is seriously gone and discontinued.  I can't find it anywhere...
But the problem si officialyl sovled - we are NOT getting a bedding set - especially since the bumper can't be used really (although I like the idea of a soft bumper in a toddler bed...) and the quilt would have to be on the glider or wall.  SO, I am buying accessories I love from a set I hate - LOL.

I am not in love with the set: https://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6E.aspx?DeptID=62438&CatID=62729&GrpTyp=ENS&ItemID=14ba59e&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=62438%7c62644%7c62645&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=14&CmCatId=62438|62644|62645|62729

(Lambs and Ivy, Bright Butterfly), but we LOVE the lamp, ceiling art, and wall decor (and maybe the hamper) (scroll down the page to see those), so I am getting those, with a generic pink bedskirt and calling it a day.
AND I am off to the store to see it live today - just to make sure...
Finally, whew!

Re: discontinued bedding issue solved!

  • That's pretty much what we are doing.  I am just getting some of the blankets from a set that I sorta like.  I loved all the quilt sets PBK (esp. for girls!) but there was no point in spending all the $ and not using the pieces.  Guess I am not going to do all that well in the cutest nursery contest, LOL!!

I think that set is adorable!

  • That's what we did, too with one of the Dwell sets from target. Worked out really well in the end, and I bought a couple of extra curtains to make a duvet cover for when the baby gets older and uses the crib as a toddler bed.
