I need some book rec's for a 5+ hour flight

I enjoy fiction, mostly.  I'm up for just about anything.  I don't do sci-fi or romance, though.

    I enjoyed One Fifth by Candace Bushnell recently. it is REALLY lightweight but good for a flight.

    The Sex and the City self references irritated me but otherwise it was fine. That woman must have a head the size of a balloon.?

    A good read for a plane would be The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. It's a fast read, but a great story. Also ...

    The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett

    Snowflower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See

    twilight will make your trip go QUICKLY. you'll need that. you'll want to get the second one for the trip home. no foolin'. trust the mass hysteria.

    Marley and Me is a wonderful book. I've recommended it to all my friends who read and they loved it. Water for Elephants is also a good one. Both of those are "I cannot put this down" type books.
