Wow..... what a day

Saturday was just a horrible day.  My mom, DD, and sister all went shopping on Saturday and DD was so good.  She didn't nap, but she was so good in her stroller all morning long.  She had a mini-meltdown when we stopped for lunch at 1, but who could blame her.  When we got home, I took a sleeping DD out of her carset and brought her into the house.  I felt that my hands were wet, and I just assumed it came from the hood of my car (it had snowed a bit).  I sniffed it and remember thinking that it was stinky, and I needed to get my car washed this week.  When I put DD down, I took off her coat and  noticed that her pants were wet.  I pulled them off, and before i was even able to unsnap the onsie, I smelt the most awful oder and saw tons of poop.  I unsnapped the onsie , tried to take off the doaper and wipe her down and immediately put her in the tub. I gave her a quicky bath and then my mom put her down for a nap while I put up her laundry.  DD cried, which is normal behavior for a child who hates naps.  She usually cries for a few minutes and then passes out.  Since she seemed to be crying for longer then usual I went up to get her.  I then noticed that DD ATE the paint off the side of her crib.  So after dealing with the poop, I now need to put something up so she would stop eating her crib.  uhhhh what a day!!

 

by the way- anyone have any suggestions for crib guards that fit on the Munire cribs?

I don't know about Munire cribs, but if it's a convertible there's one by Leachy, I think that's it, that fits most convertible cribs really well. And there's a woman on Etsy who makes them too.
