Have to see different dr tomorrow and I'm nervous

I have had the same dr my whole pregnancy and she is out of town the first couple days this week. So I have to see a dr I have never met tomorrow who is also a guy. I am so comfortable with my dr that I am nervous about seeing a different one. I am one of those gals that would rather have a woman than a man for a OB. I know that the dr is going to want to check me tomorrow and I am nervous. I hope this doesn't sound childish. I also know that there could be a chance a different dr could deliver me. But I feel if I am in labor I won't care as much. 

 Anyone else feel like this when it comes to other doctors?

i had female dr's my whole life until i went to a fertility dr.  it wasn't so bad and i got over it fast.    the check is so fast too, it's not like it's a 15 minute exam yuck.  

 

  though i still wouuld PREFER a female, there isn't much I can do (I also don't know who will deliver me!)

I understand where you are coming from.  My dr is female and all the drs at the practice are female.  There is a slim possibility that a male dr from another practice could deliver me.  That makes me nervous.
