I want Scarlett to sit on her own.  It's the only milestone for her age range that she hasn't reached and it's the one I am really looking forward to.  I don't care if she takes a year to walk or never crawls, I just want her to sit unassisted.  I am jealous of the babies younger than her that can sit for long periods of time or even take a bath sitting up.   ::pout::

if it makes you feel better, noah just started sitting on his own about a week ago...and he's still wobbly.  so Scarlett isn't the only one that decided to wait on that milestone.

My son just starting pushing himself up to sitting on his own this past week.

He took a while to sit on his own (when put in that position by someone).

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAay easier when they are laying down..

Awww My oldest seemed to do everything fast except sitting up. He was 7 months old when he finally got it.

No way will I let DD sit in the tub without her ring.  She's a squirmy worm in the ring....I can't imagine her out of it!!!

The mouse is still VERY wobily when he sits, and I have to keep an arm handy during baths so he doesn't expereince too many nose dives into the water

I know what you mean, I had been wanting taylor to sit so bad, and one day ?just sat her up and she stayed there. ?However, she is still veeerryy wobbly, and won't sit up on her own yet. ?Scarlett will be doing it before you know it!!

DS still isn't sitting on his own.  He does it for a few seconds then falls over. I don't know of many babies at this age who take baths sitting.
