Do you have a wagon, or plan to get one?

I'm talking about a Radio Flyer or a Little Tikes.

There was a man nearby who used to sell ones he made, but he passed away and they're selling what's left of what he had made.  Once they're all sold, they're gone. They're $60 for the small ones and $130 for the big ones, and I'm wondering if it's actually worth it.  See picture below

DH says he thinks he could make one

I'm wondering if the plastic Little Tikes wagon would be more convenient.  It's kind of a nostalgia thing for me, I drove by this guy's house for 20 years and always thought I'd buy one for my child, and then right after I found I out I was pregnant, they stopped being outside in his driveway and then the house went up for sale!

  • We bought one a Radio Flyer wagon for Andrew's birthday. He absolutely loves to go for rides in it. It's currently out in our garage right beside my car, and whenever I go to put Andrew in the car, he tries to hop into the wagon. Ours is one of the plastic ones.

  • I'm on the fence. We got him a ride-on car that should work for trips around the neighborhood in the summer. But for you, I think you'd regret not buying one. And after you're done using it for baby rides, you can use it for yard work! My grandmother uses an old wagon to haul brush, tools, etc. It's very handy!
  • We have one of the wood radio flyer ones, and my 2 year old still loves it.  It's the only thing she'll currently ride in.  It was also great for the beach....we loaded her and all our stuff in it.  I'd get one while you had the chance since it'd have sentimental value, too.
