I'm THISCLOSE to finishing my master's degree, and emailed my final paper to the instructor to review the formatting before I submitted it officially. He said it was fine, and then turned around and gave me a zero on the paper and said it has formatting errors.
First of all, formatting errors should not equal a zero on the paper, according to his own rubric. Secondly, when I asked him what the formatting errors are, he got angry with me for "questioning him" and has refused to answer my questions. Since it's an online class and it's the weekend, of course, there is no one who can help me deal with this guy, and the class ends in 6 hours. My degree is at stake here as we continue to email back and forth, with him becoming more and more of a jerk as I try to stay professional and get him to ANSWER MY EFFING QUESTIONS so I can do whatever it is he wants me to do.
DD has been MONDO cranky today (sick with a cold), throwing screaming tantrums, and the puppy has been driving me crazy. I finally got out to the grocery store and locked DD in the car with my keys, so Auto Club had to come rescue her while I waited (and cried like a weenie because I'm just so frustrated and tired).
I'm so ready to just flip out!!

Re: I'm about to lose it today. Huge vent!
That is absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes online classes are just so much more trouble. Hopefully you will get it straightened out. The only reasonable reason for giving a zero is if he thinks you plagerized it or didn't include any sources.
Sorry to hear about Keira. We were just counting the minutes till bedtime, is that awful? And the second she went down, my H ran out to get beer. LOL So I understand
