MIL gave me a compliment!

It's not that we don't get along or anything, IL's live upstairs from us and sometimes MIL can be very much a mom and I'm not used to that since mine hasn't been very motherly since I was about 15yrs old. Anyway I was upstairs with DS and MIL & I were chatting about stuff and she said she wished she could eat like me, that I eat such small meals but more often and then she said "You're the skinniest now than I ever remember, except for your wedding of course" which was nice to hear. For my wedding i was way too thin because I had lost a bunch of weight between the stress of the wedding planning and losing my Dad 4 months before. She's also known me since I was 16 because that's when DH & I started dating. I guess it's just nice to hear from someone else that they notice that I lost all my weight plus a little more
