Livi's cold is worse today

Poor thing woke up in the middle of the night with a fever.  We stripped her down and gave her some motrin.  One it went down we put on a very light footless pair of pjs.  She slept late and is now a boogery mess Like yesterday didn't suck enough for the poor kid. Now she has to deal with this.  I can't even really hold her my back is so sore.  She's managed to eat a bit of her breakfast but she looks like she's going to fall asleep in it.  I took her to the Dr. yesterday so I know her ears and chest are clear, but she is just so miserable. ::whine::

aww I know how you feel. Jonathan has been the same way all week, pedi said it is just a miserable cold. I hate feeling helpless

We hear ya here!!!  Kolton has had it since last weekend.  Nothing seems to make him feel better.  He had a playdate Xmas party yesterday and all he wanted to do was cuddle on me....Poor little guy!

We are in the exact same boat! DD has a fever too, and we have been giving her motrin for it. Her nose is a runny mess, and when she bf's she has to come up for air after a few gulps. I feel sooo bad for her! I have been breaking all of the rules like letting her sleep with us and holding her when she naps.

I did go get some Vick's baby rub, and I think it definitely helps her! It's not medicated, but it is very soothing, and it makes me feel like I am able to do something for her besides cuddling, wiping her nose, and refilling the humidifier. Hang in there! 

The pedi said these usually take 10 days to run their course.
