Having a Nip issue from BFing help please

I thought I had a clogged duct. I did warm compress, hot shower, massaged it, pumped like crazy and started on that side. It's not hard still firmish but not bad but it hurts like chest  pain but not (does that make sense?) .  I feel like it is weighing that side (left) down a pulling sensation.  On the tip of the nipple there looks like a blister but it is not soft and VERY painful to the touch. It is white and looks like it is coming from a duct maybe? it looks redish around the edge.  I have no fever and the breast isn't hot to the touch. It just hurts kind of crampy feeling? Dr. is closed due to the ice storm and no on call people to call. OB said to warm compress and get ahold of my doctor if it got bad go to ER. I hate that things get worse when DH is on 24 hr shifts. My head hurts too it jsut keeps getting better. Thanks for any help.

Its going to hurt but that white blister on your nipple is a clot of milk you need to work out.  I had them and they hurt so bad, but if you take a hot shower and try to break up the white spot it will feel better.

ewww... ok it won't be an issue w/her nursing will it? I feel dumb but this is the first time in 4 mos I have had an issue like this.

No it won't, I kept nursing DD when it happened to me.  When I had it it felt like a large nail was being shoved through my nipple to my chest.  I had some Tylenol 3 leftover from the hospital and it was the only thing that would take the edge off the pain.  I hope the hot water helps break it up, you may need to help it along with a pin or tweezers if you can stand it.

i have some T3's left also. That is how it feels. I will try the hot water and massage at it some more. I have to get some balls before I can use tweezers. Ouch.
