Which Name do you like best?

 My husband doesn't like the initials MJ (thinks of Michael Jackson) but I want to use John as the middle name, my grandfather & fathers name.

What do you think?

IMO, I don't think John flows well as a middle name with either first name.   Maybe it sounds better when you include it with your last name...?  I guess William John is the better of the two.

I would choose John as the first name, then I'd prefer William over Matthew for a middle name. But If you are really set on using John as the middle name then I vote for William

both are classic, and IMO you can't go wrong with either one. ?i do agree with using john as the first name, though. ?it just flows better.

I think William John sounds nice. My brother's middle name is also John and I think it flows fine.

I don't think Michael Jackson, although it did remind me of Susan's son from Desperate Housewives.  Unless you call him by his initials I don't think anyone would think about it.

Anyway I like Matthew.

I like Matthew better, nickname Matt, of course.  That is on my top five list of boy names.  I don't think of Michael Jackson with MJ.
