Hi Allison, I have been following your journey for many months now - I can't believe how far along you are! Amazing!! And your bump pic is so cute
I also lurked over here a lot and read lots of your posts but didn't really take notes in case I jinxed things...one post I do remember is...you asked about baby books. I'm a planner like you so I want to start reading up on things. So now it's my turn: What book(s) have you found useful throughout your pregnancy?
Other SAIFers are welcome to pipe up!

Hey Julianna! Its so great to "see" you here! Sometimes it feels like this pregnancy is going by really slowly and other times I can't believe how far along I am. 28 weeks tomorrow!
Your beta rise is great and certainly a great sign that there's a little one in there just waiting to grow!
I started reading 2 books that I've found pretty helpful - Your Pregnancy Week by Week and the Mayo Clinic's Guide to Pregnancy (or something like that). My pregnancy week by week tells me all the little things that are going on with me and the baby. The other book provides a more in-depth look at some of the labor and delivery options, breastfeeding, circumcision, etc. It sort of glosses over each week of development, so that's why I have both. I've heard that What to Expect When You're Expecting is kind of scary. But, then again all the pregnancy books talk about some scary things. I usually just skip the parts that I don't want to read about!
So glad to have you here! What a great holiday season this will be for both of us!
Thanks, I'm going to check all of those out! I think I'll check them out from the library first and then buy the ones I want to keep. Such a geek, I know!
Thanks for your well-wishes and yes, you're right - what a wonderful time of year this is going to be, FINALLY!!
