Question: Getting hit in the gut??

When should I be concerned.  My rational mind is telling me that the baby is well protected but I thought I would ask to double check.

I was jumping into bed quickly last night because it was so cold in our bedroom.  DHs knee went right into my uterus with a sharp jab.  It kind of took my breath away and scared us both.  I didn't have cramping or spotting or anything so I'm assuming all is fine.  Can y'all ease my mind or tell me if I should go to the doctor.  Thanks girls!

Poor DH didn't sleep all night because he was worried about it.

    I would suspect that your uterus and baby are still wayyyyyy down by your pubic bone, so there was that extra "shield" there.

    when I found the HB with my doppler around 14 weeks (?) it was still wayyyy down there.

    You're right Davezwife, it's still really low.  My uterus is just peeking over my pelvic bone and that's right where his knee jabbed me.

    The baby is very cushioned in there...I wouldn't be worried unless you started to bleed or spot.
