Well, good news and bad news

Good: bio dad didn't show up so the judge is convinced he won't be a problem

 Bad: bio mom didn't show up (eventhough they called her day before to remind her and even brought her a few christmas gifts grrrr) so she couldn't sign the paperwork to finalize everything.  She really wants them to have the baby so it seems like she is just a spaz at getting places.

So, they have yet another court date (I think this is #7 or 8 or 9) in January and hopefully it will be done then.  I just feel bad that this will be hanging over their heads during the holidays.

Thanks for the prayers and I may have to ask again when we get closer to the next court date.

I will definitely be praying for them.  I know how hard it was to wait.  It was 6 months before the court date was set to officially terminate rights (although the birth mother and father had already signed away all rights and there time was up).  We didn't feel absolute relief until we went to court in our home state and the adoption was officially finalized.
