Success after IF

Doing IVF in Ohio

I currently go to Ohio Reproductive in Columbus, however, I've heard that Cincy might be a better place to go...does anyone have any experiences doing IVF at any clinics in Ohio?  Please let me know what you thought of it, what your outcomes were, etc.  Thanks!

  • We went to the Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) and they were FANTASTIC.  We did IVF and it failed, but we were one of a few.  A good friend of mine did IVF in Louisville and was told she would never get pregnant because of her eggs.  Well, she thought it was hooey and wanted a 2nd opinion.  So she went to IRH and they did IVF again and she got pregnant on the first try and she is currently getting ready to do another round.  We saw Dr. S., but Dr. A. is awesome too.  Here's their website:

  • Ditto PP :) We also went to IRH for IVF and PGD.  Pregnant on the first shot Big Smile

Dr. S was my primary and I loved him!! But both doctors in the practice are fantastic and great at their jobs so either is fine.

    Good luck to you!!

  • We traveled from Pittsburgh to the Cleveland Clinic (Beachwood campus).  We worked with Dr. Goldfarb and Dr. Austin.  My RE in Pittsburgh did all of my monitoring appt.  IVF #1 was our miracle (after a lap and 4 IUIs with injectables with my local RE)....I am almost 25 weeks pregnant with faternal twin girls.  I highly recommend the Cleveland Clinic.  For us they were the one thing that led us to our miracle girls!  Good luck to you!  :)
  • I used the Center for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati.  I wasn't thrilled with my assigned RE (Dr. T.), but loved the head of the practice (who I ended up seeing more, anyway) - Dr. W.  All in all, I can't complain too much as I became pregnant from my first IVF cycle.  I've also know a lot of people with good experiences with IRH and the Clinic.
