How much does your 16 month weigh?

Nadia has had a stomach bug and we took her to the doctor's yesterday- she dropped over a pound and is at 19.5 lbs right now. I'm worried b/c she's tiny to begin with.

My 19 month old weighs 18lbs15oz, so she's much smaller than your DD.

I wouldn't worry about it if your peds aren't worried.

My DD#1 was NOT on the weight charts from 1YO to 2YO. Now, at 3YO, she's 50%weight, 70% height (went from below 0%weight and 20%height) - she had some HUGE growth spurts.

dd didn't hit 19lb until 18 m... at 2 yr she was 21lb 3oz... She went for a 2 1/2 yr well visit (b/c we moved and her preschool form needed a recent H/H (bloodwork)) and she was up to 25lb! She's grown a lot this last year. I'm excited to see how much at her 3 yr visit. She's catching up to many in her class and isn't SO obviously smaller. Still skinny... but getting taller (she is a shorty too, she had been 10th up until last August and she was up in the 20s for percentiles!)

She probably dropped in weight from being sick. My dd was sick and not eating at 17 months. She had been 23 lb at 15 months and was still only 23 lbs at that appt. They can loose weight but she should make it up once she feels better.

I have a friend with a very petite dd. She probably wasn't 20 lb until 18 months.
