Best Buy WTF and finally I did it.

I needed a new video camera. I went to best buy with 2 in mind but didnt know which one would suit my needs. So I told the sales guy that I wanted one that I could record then upload the video to windows movie maker and post in my blog. They sold me A MINI DVD camera. um yeah you cant do what I wanted with that one. ther ewas no firewire connection or anything. so after spending half a day on the phone with Best Buy and Canon I found the right camera (it was the other one I was interested in) and went back to the store to exchange.

 

I was able to get them to wave the restocking fee since they were the ones that sold me the wrong thing and they priced matched amazon on the camera so I ended up saving a ton. SO I guess they did me right in the end.

 

This morning I decided to give it a try and film a video to post. It was so easy!!!

What type (kind)  of camera did you go with?  We too need soemthing new and I was toying with the idea of getting one for DH for x-mas.

I got the Canon ZR950. Consumer repots rated it the best bang for your buck without having to sacrifice on quality. I really like it (even though I have only had it one day) and found uploading video to my computer through windows movie maker was a snap!
