So a complete stranger rubbed my belly

First time this had happened, and I froze. I had all these scenarios and snappy one-liners all worked out, but I just went completely blank.

Oh, and I can no longer pick things up off the floor. These are some highly underated milestones.

I would have rubbed their belly back and said, oh when are you due?

I can't tie my own shoes, uggs are my friend.

I know!  I had all sorts of clever stuff prepared for things like that when I was pregnant and when it actually goes down, you're in such disbelief that you just freeze.

Don't ya just love it? Has anyone said "Are you sure you've just got one in there?" Thats ones my fav.

I have yet to have a stranger touch my belly!!  I'm beginning to think I'm missing out!

I do get, 'ohhh, are you expecting?'  my response?  "eh, no, I just ate too much pizza for lunch."

This crazy lady at our church did that when I was pregnant! I didn't know her at all and she rubbed ALL AROUND my belly. She got a little too close heading south and I had no idea what to do or say. I did the same thing - I had all these witty comebacks if it ever happened and then went blank.

 I feel for you - it's akward and uncomfortable!
