Medicate or don't medicate??

So I posted earlier about giving DS tylenol for his fever since I had given him motrin 4 hours earlier. Well I did give him the tylenol. At that time his fever was 101.1, not much down from this morning when it was 101.5. He just woke up from a nap and I took his temp and it was 100.6 so its going in the right direction. I know in the past my doc would only want me to medicate when the temp was over 101.

Should I not give him a dose of motrin at 2:30 because his temp is under 101 and see what his temp does?

I would see what it does.  If he is really fussy and still warm I would give it.  He may be aching if he has a cold.

I would give him another does of Motrin at 2:30, but that is just me.  If he is still running a fever on motrin and tylenol then think what it would be without it?!  I say keep it going until it breaks!  GL!!
