Blake is here!!

Hello all,

Blake arrived on Friday at 12:36pm weighing 7lb 8 oz and 20 1/4 inches.

After getting my membranes stripped on Wednesday I ended up in this ridiculous, painful false labor until Friday morning. I didn't go into real labor until 4am Friday morning. We got to the hospital around 7am and I was still doing pretty well. The hardest part was that the anesthesiologist was in a c-section and couldn't get to me for a couple hours. By the time she came I was in a lot more pain than I personally believe is necessary and dialated to probably about a 7-8 (I was an 8 when they checked me right after getting the epi.) But once I got the epi we relaxed and everything went super easy. I only had to push through 2 contractions and he was here. My nurse was with us all morning and she was really amazing.

DH did amazingly well and has been such a wonderful, supportive help through it all and since we got home. I am so amazed and in love with him. Big brothers are completely enamored and enjoying spending time with little Blake also.
