I just noticed DD's bottom canine teeth are popping through. That, and her language explosion, might explain all of the sleepless nights lately. That will be 16 teeth (well, 15 1/2, if you count her chip!). Kind of makes me miss her gums-only days!

Uggh...isn't it fun? DD just had one of her "eye teeth" pop in last week and that was a total pain. She was so crabby and wouldn't eat hardly anything! I cannot wait for her to have all of her teeth.
It's so much fun! I tried to count all her words and got lost past 80. And what an odd selection of words! Chapstick, mouse thief (what I call her when she steals our wireless mouse), armpit. I start to think she's the most gifted child in the world, and then she spends 5 minutes in the bathtub fascinated watching herself suck in/stick out her stomach. Oh well, I don't want a genius in the family if it's not going to be me!

Those are some pretty funny words, she looks so grown up in that picture. It's hard to think she is fairly close in age to my dd, who has started using the word "more" with great enthusiasm when given a xmas cookie tonight.?
I'm LOLing at the image of her sitting in the tub and watching her suck her stomach in and out. DD does that and then laughs at herself! It's amazing the stuff that amuses them
I've heard that the canine teeth are killer!! Hopefully now that they are popping through she'll start sleeping better. DD is just now getting her molars (teeth 11 and 12) and it's been a nightmare!
Re: That might explain the sleepless nights ...
We have 4...almost 5.
And you made me LOL at counting the chip as 1/2!
Are you lovin' the lang explosion??
