IS ANYONE ELSE VERY LARGE SAY DDD OR E AT THIS POINT AND PLANNING ON BREAST FEEDING OR HAS IN THE PAST? I'M WORRIED ABOUT BEING SO LARGE MY FRIENDS DOCTOR TOLD HER NOT TO BECAUSE SHE WOULD BE MISERABLE. ANY SUGGESTIONS??
I'm not large, but I have heard that if a woman has very large breasts it can be difficult, if not impossible, for the baby to latch on. You should definitley give it a shot, though, if you want to breastfeed. You won't know unless you try! Good luck.
Happily married Mom to 2 beautiful little girls, 2 dogs and 2 cats (all rescues), 2 fish and one 29 year-old firebelly newt. ~ Hoping to add to our family by adoption via Connecticut DCF. Application submitted on 2/4/14. First home visit on 6/23/14. Started class 11/17/14.~
NO. I'M SORRY. I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THAT AND UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, I'M NOT VERY LARGE... YOU COULD ASK YOUR OWN DR. ABOUT IT OR TRY GOOGLING AND SEE WHAT YOU COME UP WITH. HTH.
I am a 34G now (pre-pg 32E) and I am definitely going to do my best to breastfeed. If I've had to carry these things around for so many years I'm at least going to put them to good use feeding my baby. I'm hoping since they are freaking ginormous that I'll have enough milk to freeze a good supply.
I would be skepitcal of any doctor who recommended NOT to breasfeed since it is good for mom and baby.

I myself have smaller boobs however my sister was very large chested. She was an H I believe with her last child and she breastfeed exclusively. The only problem she had was everyone pointing out how large they really were. Oh the other thing is she was able to pump off like 6-8oz's each time off each breast.
If you really want to breastfeed I would say try it. No one knows if it is going to be a problem except you. Best of luck.
As long as you don't have inverted nipples your fine, even if you do have inverted nipples or the baby is having a hard time latching on there are always nipple shields you can use to assist baby. You will do fine! I wish I had that problem I am Normally A 34 but pregnancy has only gotten me to a 42 B...
