My sis-in-law was in a wedding while in her 40th week of pregnancy. She did look like a whale, but we would have never told her so! lol

Wow, she must not have much to worry about in her life if looking like a whale in someone else's wedding photos tops the list.

I don't think she is concerned about being the show-stopper at the wedding.  My guess would be that she knows all of the planning that goes into the wedding & she doesn't want to be bothersome with ordering the new dress, not knowing how she'll feel the day of, etc.  All these things went through my head too (I am in my sisters wedding in 2 weeks). 

As it gets closer, I am so excited & happy that I waited to see how my pregnancy progressed before jumping to a quick conclusion & taking myself out of the wedding.

Give her a break - she just found out she was pregnant and is freaking out  about the upcoming events.  I did the same thing - it takes time to settle into your new lifestyle.
