2nd Trimester

I fainted in the grocery store last night...

Luckily I kind of crumbled and sat on the floor before I actually fell.

Everything is fine now, but it certainly wasn't any fun!

  • Ooh no good. I fainted twice with my first pregnancy. Do you have low blood pressure or anemia? What was it that made you faint? Did you get really hot and then pass out or was it a smell? Eggs did it for me. Hope you feel better soon.
  • My blood pressure is kind of on the low end of normal.

I got very hot and felt sick, then my vision went.  I was scared and a little embarrassed!

  • I remember the feeling! So scary. I fainted after giving blood in early September. Unfortunately, I started taking off all my clothes in the hall of a restaurant. I was so out of it and so so hot and dizzy. Hahahaaa. I had my paints to my knees and my shirt off and just fainted. Some of the restaurant people thought I was drunk. LOL. It was actually my bday and my DH was so freaked out and embarassed. We haven't gone back. You should ask your Dr. about the low blood pressure and what you can do to prevent further fainting spells. I heard to get down and put your head between your legs if you feel faint. Also take off big jackets.

I would love to see a pregnant woman do this. Confused

  • I'm sorry that happened to you. It really sucks. I almost fainted in Macy's the day after Thanksgiving. I was blacking out and had to lay down on the floor in the middle of the store.
  • I'm sorry that happened to you. In church last week, I thought I was going to faint. My family wasn't with me and I was sitting in the middle of the pew. I didn't want to be one of those annoying people that leaves in the middle of mass and climbs over people to do it, so I forced myself to stay and luckily after 20 minutes I felt a lot better. I told my Dr. about it on Thursday and he said to let him know if it happens again and that they would run tests. I hope this doesn't happen again, to me or you. Good luck!
