hmm... BOB stroller ...wwyd?

I am putting a BOB stroller on our registry, as I'm sure one of our relatives will buy it for us... I really really really want a brown stroller.  The only BOB I can find on BRU is brown and pink.  Very cute.  We are having a girl, so this is just fine for now.

Only problem is, we do plan on having another baby, hopefully right after this one, so it would be 50% chance of it being a boy, and I wouldn't put a boy in this stroller.  Everything else we have bought/registered for so far is gender neutral, so we could use it for a boy also... Worst case, we would just have to buy a new stroller with baby #2... (and I'm thinking we would have to buy a double stroller anyway with two young kids!)...

Or should I just put the black one on, since then it would be "safe" to use for a boy if need be?  I don't like the black one... it's fugly to me.

Ugh am I overthinking this, and just need to put the brown and pink one on there?  This sounds kind of ridiculous huh...LOL

    If you really want a specific stroller and don't mind paying for another one if you have a boy then get it. We are having a girl but are also planning on having another child so a lot of the big items we registered for including our stroller are gender neutral. I know DH nor myself is going to want to pay for another one in the future.

    I would keep the one you like on the registry!  Its super cute and you are right that you will probably want a double with two young kids anyway.  Plus, IMO if you were practical about everything else being reusable its totally fine to splurge a little.

    If it's what you really want I say go for it.  If you are planning on having another kid right away you probably will need the double stroller, so you could sell this one and then use the money to go towards the new double one.

    I'd put the brown and pink stroller on there. One you like it, and two you'll need a double unless your 1st child is like 4 and older when you have another one. My son is 18 months and while he's been walking since 9 months, he's no where near never needing to ride in a stroller again. There is always like zoos and amusement parks and stuff that even 4 year olds get tired and need to sit in a stroller for awhile.

    Also, my stroller, a peg perego planko p3, is so beat up after only 17 months of using it. I actually wouldn't want to use it for a second child! Haha! We've been everywhere with it though, through the mud, in and out of my car all the time, etc. I think I'm just going to clean it up as best I can and sell it on ebay for $100 or so. GL!

    Well, we have that exact stroller and ours is actually brown and blue.  And we bought it knowing that we had a girl.  We just loved the color combination and did not care about the gender thing.  However, it probably works better to put a girl in male colors than the other way around.  The BOB strollers are always in demand on craigslist. 

     It is a while until a baby can go into one as it is (8 months I think?) and who knows how long it will be until baby 2 comes a long.  So go for the one you want :)

    Get a gender nuetral one so it can be reused....you will not use it enough to make it worth getting a new one each pg

    Ooooh I would love a brown and blue one!!  I actually really want to find a brown and GREEN stroller, I found a Graco Quattro Tour one i like a lot, but I played with it in the store and didn't love it... but I love the colors!

    We are buying a pink stroller for our girl and if we have a boy the second time we'll just buy a new stroller if we have to. Besides, who knows if we'll even like the pink one anymore after using it for a while.  Planning ahead isn't for me :)  I'd rather live for the now!  Especially b/c there is a fifty percent chance you'll have a girl again!

    If your next child is a boy, you could always sell the stroller on Craigslist or Ebay.
