I was read a mag in the docs waiting room about a women who faked having stage 2 breast cancer. She shaved her head and eyebrows. She was a highschool teacher and had fundraisers at school and fooled all her students. I didn't get to read the whole thing. I was seriously so mad when i put the mag back.  How in the heck could you live with yourself??????

Wow, that would piss me off too. I don't understand people who can do scams like that.

There was a story on TV recently about a woman who faked several pregnancies and would act like she was planning to give the baby up for adoption, so she'd pick out a couple and get a ton of money from them for medicial bills, etc. and then right before she was due to "deliver" she'd just disappear.

A guy at my school did that a few years ago.  He went so far as to take donations from students parents and from the PTA in the thousands of dollars.  He was asked to leave after being discovered but told everyone that he was taking a leave of absence for his illness. His life partner is still with him and still works at the school and is my team leader.  It was so weird even talking to him. I cant see how they are still together. I dont think I could be with a person who would do such a heinous thing.
