Do you hate drama as much as I do?

Can I just tell you all how much I love the Toddler Board right now? We have lots of great people here... I laugh here, I gain useful knowledge here, we share our trials here, etc. We really don't have much *crap* to deal with as of late. I asked a question on another board for a specific person and the replies were from everyone else BUT that person, and they were so flippin anti-outsider and juvenile, I just gave-up. What idiots. I heart you allWink

    ...yeah, no kidding. DD will be up in 4 hrs and I have yet to sleep tonight. LOL! Back in the newborn days, I would've savored every single second of shut-eye.

    Actually, I'm the opposite. It was so hard for me to go to sleep when she was getting up every 2 hours. I didn't see the point in going back to sleep when she'd be up again so soon. But now that she (usually) sleeps for longer blocks of time, I pass out instantly because I know I can actually get some quality sleep. I've got many months of sleepless night to catch up on!

    LOL! ...since we're totally off subject, I secretly dread reliving that newborn period with future kiddos. I would love to have oodles of babies, but think 2 or 3 is my limit. How in the world do parents handle the newborn phase when they have other kids that will be affected by the crying at all hours? I wonder this every time I say to myself, "Hmm, think I'm ready again."

    I know! I took an extremely rare (2 hour!) nap this afternoon. I couldn't have done that if I'd had another one to tend to. After I had DD I thought I wanted 20 more because I was so in love with her snuggliness. She's still cuddly, but I think one more will be plenty here!

    But seeing as she is FINALLY asleep, I'm going to bed! Have a great night!

    I just wanted to respond to your original post.  I too hate drama!!!  I cruised around other boards (and still lurk on them too) but I guess I only felt comfortable "coming out" on this Toddler board.  Seems to me to be a great group of drama-free, funny gals.  I heart this board too!!!
