Recommend your camcorder

I have the camera I love, but now I'm trying to find a good camcorder.

We have a laptop and ideally I'd like to just download the recording to the computer to burn a disk. Price really isn't a factor...I just don't want to upgrade in a year or miss all the cool stuff our girl is going to do.

Any recommendations?

I have heard nothing but raves about the Flip.  It's small, takes good video, easy to get on the camera.  It's not for filming your kid's ballet recital, but good for grabbing the moment and easy to carry around.   Honestlyu, we never use our real video camera.  I always just use the little video option on my point and shoot digital camera.  The flip is similar to that type of thing, but way better quality.

We have a sony handycam that is awesome. It records in full HD and is easy to use and watch. I think it's an SR11 model?

A friend has one of those flip video cameras and that's pretty cool too.

I have the Flip and LOVE it. But I would wait for the HD version to come out soon.

We just got the Sony HDR-SR12. I believe it is a handycam. Its so user friendly and records on a harddrive and in HD.
