i am northerner but i was in texas for work a few months ago and discovered the salt lick in the austin airport.  i bought a bunch of the sauces and rubs (we use them to make pork sandwiches in the crock pot).  is this considered good bbq?  my husband loves the sauces and i was going to order more online.

Yes, Salt Lick is soooo good! And when you eat there, it's all you can eat. Dangerous.

Yes it is. I'm from Georgia originally, so Texas BBQ was new to me(I live in Austin now)  But I  think Stubbs, Salt lick, and Rudy's(my favorite) in Austin are good BBQ.

I'm from the north, but have family in TX and we've eaten at the Salt Lick before. It is amazing!

hmmmm....are their mail order meats good?  my H would love a brisket or ribs.  it just seems weird to order that stuff by mail.
