where did the 0.99 menu go? Why did it just cost me more to order four individual things than to get a greasy, yucky burger combo?

Same thing is going on with McDonalds---at least by me. They took the cheeseburger off the $1 menu and made it $1.39 -- WTH? They are all going mad because of the recession we are in!!

I discovered the same thing at McDonalds - I was ticked because I was hungry and only had about a $1.50 in change with me. I asked the lady why it cost more - she said it was because it comes w/ an extra piece of cheese. ???????

Hmmmm .. next time I will tell them to leave off the extra picee...I got my own and charge me the old price! Think it will work?

At our McDonald's, they took the Double Cheeseburger off of the $1 menu and put a "McDouble" in its place--only one slice of cheese instead of two.  Annoying!

Just order the McDouble then, its supposedly the same thing, with only 1 cheese instead of 2. And should still be $1.
