Speaking of Abbreviations...random

Does anyone else really hate using DH? I just feel silly referring to my husband as 'darling/dear husband'. I'm down with cutesy but these rub me wrong for some reason. Totally unexplained.  Am I the only one? I guess when I finally have this kid I'll feel the same way about DS, DD and DC.

Its not my favorite but I use it from time to time - I use Hubs far more often though, I hate the term "hubby".

In my head....when I use DH, I can't get designated hitter out of my head......baseball on the brain.....

I'm not actually married, but I got sick of referring to him as my significant other, so DH it is.

I find myself thinking (sometimes almost saying it) when I'm talking to people IRL.  It's terrible, but I guess once I got used to it I just couldn't stop.

haha its totally not my fav either... but everyone uses it and i got in the habit and it just comes out now.  its funny because when i take the time to actually say the full phrase it makes me wine a little...
