Amazed--Mat Clothes

I love Macy's. I really do. I liked it better when it was Dayton's and then Marshall Fields (still bitter about the change), but it's still great. I spent $100 and bought 2 sweaters, one tank top (for under things), a t-shirt and a pair of pants. Then I went over to the baby clothes and spent $30 for two Ralph Lauren polos, a pair of cotton pants (neutral), a footed thermal outfit and a really soft blanket.

I think I did pretty well. Does everyone/anyone else think I did well, or does that sound like a lot compared to what you've been spending?

I'm just wondering if you gals have found better deals than me so I can shop elsewhere if I need more. (I can't buy pants online, FYI. I have short legs but not always short enough for petite, so I have to try them on.)

Wow you did really great!! I typically don't go to Macy's but have family that always goes and always come back talking about how prices need to go down....so why keep shopping there but whatever. Congrats on your shopping extravaganza (sp?)

That is a GREAT deal...if the clothes aren't fugly. haha jk   There are 4 or 5 Macy's around here but none of them have a maternity section!!

That is really great for a Macy's! DH took me shopping at Old Navy for some maternity clothes recently and I got a pair of jeans, 3 sweaters and 2 long sleeved shirts for just over $100 - not too shabby!

My Macy's doesn't have maternity either!  I have built my wardrobe off of Oldnavy.com and anntaylorloft.com.  I've spent about $400 but have 6 pairs of pants, 2 jeans, lots of long sleeve tees, and a few sweaters.

I got a cute maternity shirt there for under 20 bucks but the sales woman may be the reason I never go back. She was so annoying!! She insisted on seeing everything I tried on. Then she told me if she didn't like the way something looked she would let me buy it but she wouldn't sell it to me!!!
