Rolaids?

Does anyone know off hand if their doctor has approved Rolaids for heartburn, i know Tums are ok but i've read conflicting reports on Rolaids.  I have my book from the doc at home but i'm at work and i need to know now, this heartburn is killing me!!  I have on hand the Rolaids Soft Chews.

    I think it has something to do with the magnesium in Rolaids...

    we talked about this on another thread this morning. First line of defense for heartburn (according to my OB) is Tums or Rolaids, soft chews are okay.  Second is Mylanta, and after that if those arent working talk to your dr about using zantac and then on to prilosec. It depends on if you are having normal sluggish pregnant digestion, or acid reflux.  Look thru the threads from this morning, is was like "prilosec or zantac?"  someone posted a link to the list provided by her OB

    Rolaids Soft Chews were okay'd by my Dr's office.
