Did your DH have any luck with Waterbabies?
I e-mailed them and asked if my online registration went through and she replied and said if you give me your last name I can check. Then nothing....
I don't know why she didn't think to create times for people interested in each class to call. Like returning families for PT1 9-10am phone in registration...instead she just sent out an e-mail that says call. What was she thinking???
At least they moved open registration back a few days. Hopefully we will all get a confirmation before then. The class I registered had 2 open slots when I registered and now it is filled up online so I will be upset if we don't get it.
Re: Seattle_JiLLn
Yeah I haven't heard anything. I've emailed and called and we *think* we got through on the on line system too.
It's idiotic. Whoever made this system for them doesn't know what they're doing apparently. My guess is that someone volunteered to make it. Seriously Jessica told us that they looked into buying a system and it would be over $100,000. Um, yeah right. I'm sure you can get something that works for less, but I doubt they know what they're looking for.
And I agree. They could do PT1 registration on Monday, PT2 registration on Tuesday, etc... and avoid this. But really, Let's say there are 10 classes a day, with 10 kids in each one? That's 100 kids, times 7 days? 700 kids? Even if you double that, it's 1500. And not all of them are early registration. How can you not handle 1000 hits on your website?
If we don'tget in I'll be PISSED. And I will demand that we get early registration next session even if we have to skip this session.
I think they're hurting. I wish there were other options. But I have looked and just can't find anything. THe only ones I have found are 2 days a week, and end up costing about the same per class as water babies, so essentially it doubles the price. ANd I don't want 2 days a week, I just want one.
If you ever find anything good, let me know, and I'll let you know too.
Yeah my DH is a techy. (He use to be a sys. admin.) and the iclasspro people are hosting. One $15K server set up properly could easily handle all the people that use it. Let's just say with the junk we have sitting around here we could do a better job with the waterbabies in our basement.
Waterbabies should get a full refund from iclasspro and they should let someone that knows what they are doing set it up.
Yeah, we have enough crap around here to set somethng up too! it's amazing how much "extra" equipment one person can amass huh?
They better not be paying their server guys ANYTHING.
