WWYD? Toddler and fit?

DD is a lot of fun in the morning... until I try to put on her clothes, socks, shoes, or coat!

I end up just making it happen, while she is squirming and saying no.  I calmly tell her 'we have to put our coat on and get ready to go'. 

When I get it on, she settles down and gets happy again, but it makes for a very rough morning for me.

Any suggestions?

we deal with this at every diaper change, bedtime change and every clothing change. It helps most of the time letting him have a toy to play with (preferrably one that he hasn't seen in a while). Maybe turn the t.v. on for that short amount of time to distract her.

Getting dressed always involves a struggle here, too. We usually make a full lap around the house before I catch her and put her clothes on. No advice except to keep a happy thought that one day she'll be dressing herself and you won't get to pick what she's wearing!
