Hi! Would any of you ladies have any good recommendations for a book or maybe a website for GOOD in depth advice and helpful marriage counseling or marriage help? My husband and I are just not doing so well at the moment and I am a fighter and I will not leave my marriage until I have put both feet forward to try and reconnect with my husband and learn to love him like I once did..I want our marriage to work so badly...I never wanted to have a broken marriage with my own kids involved

..TIA!!!....
Re: Marriage Books
Hey there. I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles. DH and I were right there not so long ago...we still are working hard to keep things under control (ie, not scream and fight infront of baby...) We found a good counselor, and she recommended this book:
The Seven Principles to Making Marriage Work
by Gottman.
She recommended each of us reading through it and each of us getting a journal (which should be regarded as private, but something you can verbally share with your partner) to work through his exercises. It's a long process, and we honestly haven't started any of the exercises --- but just reading through it has REEEEALLLY helped our marriage already.
A couple things that really helped me feel validated were small sections on becoming a mother and dealing with in-laws --- a couple of very real issues we've been facing.
I'm sure you can read more reviews of the book on Amazon. One last thing our counselor recommended was getting 2 copies of the book so each of you can make your own notes without worrying about the other partner seeing it or whether the other will get bothered by it.
I hope this helps. We were seriously just there right after Halloween, but things have improved a lot --- we refer to the book when we start getting irritated, and it seems to keep things cooled down.
Good luck to you and your husband!
