When did you allow blanket/stuffed animal in bed with DC?

He loves his stuffed animals and I thought that one might help him put himself back to sleep during the night.  Also, he has no problem pulling a blanket off his face when we're playing in the bed, is it okay to put a loose-knit afghan in there with him?

DD has had blankets and stuffed animals in her crib for a few months now.  She has her lovey that she sleeps with every night and blankets we use to cover her because it gets chilly at night.

Henry has a lovey (lion) in his crib and we got it about two weeks ago. He also has a small taggie blanket.

Gave her a blanket last night and she slept through the night!!!!!!  SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT.  It is a miracle.
